In accordance with the annoucement of the nation-wide lockdown by the President of the Republic of South Africa, starting from midnight, 26 March 2020 until midnight, 16 April 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria has adjusted the working arrangement of the Embassy's Consular Section ,effective 27 March 2020 until 16 April 2020.

1. VISA : All visa application will not be accepted during the nation-wide lockdown. Inquiries can be made to [email protected] only for urgent and special circumstance.

2. LEGALISATION : All legalisation applications will not be accepted during the nation-wide lockdown. Inquiries can be made to [email protected] only for urgent and special circumstance.

3. CONSULAR SERVICE FOR THAI CITIZENS : All inquiries must be made through telephone at 012-342-5470 and email at [email protected] during working hours (10.00-16.00 hrs.). Urgent consular services rendered, with inquires made via the Embassy Emergency Consular number +2782 923 6179 

4. TRAVEL INQUIRIES : Foreign Nationals are kindly requested to directly contact airlines or travel agencies for the most up-to-date travel requirements for travelling to and from Thailand.
