In accordance with the annoucement of an extension of the nation-wide lockdown by the President of the Republic of South Africa on 9 April 2020, that will take effect from 17 April 2020 to 30 April 2020, in which movement of private individuals will continue to be strictly restricted, the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria has therefore adjusted the consular services arrangements of the Embassy to be effective from 17 April 2020 until 30 April 2020, as follows:

 

 

 

          1. VISA : All visa application will not be accepted during the duration of initial nation-wide lockdown period and the extended period. Inquiries can be made to [email protected] only for urgent and special circumstance.

 

 

 

          2. LEGALISATION : All legalisation applications will not be accepted during the duration of initial nation-wide lockdown period and the extended period. Inquiries can be made to [email protected] only for urgent and special circumstance.

 

 

          3. CONSULAR SERVICE FOR THAI CITIZENS : All inquiries must be made through telephone at 012-342-5470 and email at [email protected] during working hours (10.00-16.00 hrs.). Urgent consular services rendered, with inquires made via the Embassy Emergency Consular number +2782 923 6179 

 

          4. TRAVEL INQUIRIES : Foreign Nationals are kindly requested to directly contact airlines or travel agencies for the most up-to-date travel requirements for travelling to and from Thailand.
