On 5 December 2014 from 12.30 – 15.00 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria hosted the reception on the occasion of the 87^th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Voradet Viravakin, Ambassador of Thailand to South Africa, invited all the guests to have a toast for the good health of His Majesty the King of Thailand and His Excellency the President of South Africa. H.E. Mr. Mduzi Comfort Manama, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, the Guest of Honor from the South African Government, delivered the well-wishing remarks for His Majesty the King. About 300 guests attended the Reception. After the official ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Viravakin led the Thai community to wish His Majesty the King all the happiness and long live, followed by singing the Royal Anthem and Sududee Maharaja.
