Diplomatic Visa
Required documents:
- Visa Application form(s) and photograph(s): two signed and completed Visa Application Forms dated at least 10 working days before the intended date of travel (Visa Application Form), as well as two recent photograph(s) (size 2x2 inch).
- Passport (only diplomatic passport/UN Laissez Passer holders, valid for no less than 6 months) to be submitted with a copy of the Passport
- Copy of ID Document other than Passport (for example ID Card or Driving License)
- Copy of Permanent Residence or other permit (if not a national of the country of residence)
- A copy of flight ticket(s)
- Note verbale from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic mission or related UN agencies – certifying person’s identity and purpose of visit or residing
*For family members traveling together, documents showing family relation such as a copy of birth certificate or marriage certificate must be submitted.
- A Copy of Yellow fever vaccination card – for applicants from or have travelled to yellow fever infected areas. *See: List of countries which require International Health Certificate for Yellow Fever Vaccination
- Certified copy of unabridged birth certificate, certified original passport of ID of parents/legal guidance, and original letter of notarized consent for minor to travel abroad by parents/legal guidance (for minor under 20 years old).
- Visa Application Fee : No Fee
Period of Stay
The holders of this type of visa are initially granted a period of stay in the Kingdom not exceeding 90 days unless otherwise instructed by the Office of Immigration Bureau.
Extension of Stay
For diplomatic passport holder and official passport holder who will be posted to Thailand, the extension of stay may be processed through the Department of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

It is suggested that the application be submitted at least 14 working days prior to the intended travelling date to the Kingdom
