On 6 December 2013 from 12.00 – 14.00 hrs, The Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria hosted the reception on the occasion of the 86^th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence. Mr. Surasak Suparat, Charge`d` Affaires a.i., invited all the guests to have a toast for His Excellency the President of South Africa and His Majesty the King of Thailand and Mr. Andries Nel, Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, who was the Guest of Honor from the South African Government, delivered the well-wishing remarks for His Majesty the King. About 300 guests attended the Reception. After the official ceremony, His Excellency Mr. Voradet Viravakin, Ambassador of Thailand to South Africa, delivered the well-wishing remarks for His Majesty the King followed by singing the Royal Anthem and Sadudee Maharaja with the Royal Thai Embassy’s staffs and the Thai community.
