On 3 - 6 April 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria organised the Amazing Thialand Feature Stand at Taste of Cape Town to showcase authentic Thai food and Thai dessert cooking as well as Thai massage. The event was well-attended by Captonians and tourists from around the world, with the turn-over of more than 45,000 people per day. The cooking demonstration was co-sponsored by the award-winning Kitima Thai Restaurant, Hout Bay. The Head Chef from Kitima Restaurant and the Chef from the Thai Ambassador's residence were highly acknowledged of their excellent Thai food cooking skills. Many visitors have been to Thailand, love it and will definitely go back again while many plan to go to Thailand this year to enjoy Thai food, Thai massage and shopping.
