On 20 November 2016, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Pornchai Danvivathana hosted an event called “Ruam Palang Haeng Kwarm Pakdee” (Displaying The Power of Loyalty) to honour the late King Bhumibhol, with many Thais and their families attending the event at the Royal Thai Embassy.

            The Ambassador led the Thai people pay homage to the late King Bhumibol, and pledged their loyalty and respect for the Monarchy and the country, then Thais sang the Royal Anthem and stood in silence to honour the late King Bhumibol.

            The Royal Thai Embassy expresses its sincere appreciation to the Thai people in South Africa for taking part in the event, alongwith Thai people worldwide. The event demonstrates the extent of loyalty that Thai people have toward the monarchy and their readiness to protect the nation, religion, and the monarchy.
