The Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria held a wreath-laying and tribute ceremony on the occasion of King Chulalongkorn The Great Memorial Day on 23 October 2025 at the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria.

 

His Excellency Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Ambassador of Thailand, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by officials of Team Thailand and the Embassy, together with their spouses.

 

On this solemn occasion, the Ambassador delivered a remembrance message in honor of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn The Great, recalling His Majesty’s lifelong devotion to the Thai nation and people, as well as His visionary leadership in laying the foundation for Thailand’s modernization and national progress.

 

Participants then paid homage before the portrait of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn The Great to express their profound gratitude and reverence for His Majesty’s benevolent contributions to the Kingdom.
