On 26 April 2021, Mr. Paisit Boonparlit, Chargé d’Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria, gave an opening remark and attended the Master Class Cooking Show, organized by Ms. Lesley Simpson, the Representative of Tourism Authority of Thailand in South Africa. The activity consisted of inviting 21 South African influencers to cook Thai delicacies, including Tom Yam Kung (Sour and Spicy Prawn Soup), Krapao Nuea (Stir Fried Holy Basil with Beef) and Kluay Buadchi (Thai Banana in Coconut Milk), virtually with the famous Chef Micky from Chef Micky’s Thai Dining. The activity was successful and all participants reminisced of their time in Thailand and, of course, the delightful and authentic Thai food.
