Mr. Kittipod Hongsombud, Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria, presided over a ceremony to present royal offerings and lay a wreath before the royal portrait of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn the Great. The ceremony also included Buddhist chanting and the offering of food to monks, dedicating the merit to His Majesty King Chulalongkorn the Great on the anniversary of His passing and King Chulalongkorn Day, 23 October 2026. Officials of the Embassy and Team Thailand, together with their spouses, attended the ceremony.
