On 25 June 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria, in collaboration with Wat Phra Dhammakaya Johannesburg, held a fifteen-day memorial merit-making ceremony marking the fifteenth day following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, Krom Luang Rajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhida, at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Johannesburg. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Ambassador, and attended by officials of the Royal Thai Embassy, officials and staff of Team Thailand in Pretoria, as well as representatives of the Thai community in South Africa.

 

On this occasion, Phra Kru Bhavanavidesa Vi., Abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Johannesburg, presided over the monastic rites and led the chanting of Buddhist prayers. Participants also offered sanghadāna and lunch to the monks, dedicating the merit to Her Royal Highness.
