Procedure for the document legalisation before use in Thailand:-
Make sure that, your document completed the process below:
1. If the document is issued in South Africa, it must be certified by Notary Public or High Court first, then by DIRCO (Department of International Relations and Cooperation), and the last by the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria.
2. If the Educational Degree is issued in South Africa, it must be certified by the Higher Education & Training or the SAQA (South African Qualifications) first, and by DIRCO, then by the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria.
*** The document certified by DIRCO must not exceed 6-month validity***.
*** If the application cannot submit the documents at the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria in person, the documents can be sent by courier or a third party to the Consular Section of the Embassy.


NOTE 1: Please kindly bring 1 copy of document for the Embassy to keep as record.


NOTE 2: THE ROYAL THAI EMBASSY HAS NO POLICY OF SENDING THE DOCUMENTS BACK TO THE APPLICANTS.

NOTE 3: The Royal Thai Embassy does not accept Apostille documents. 

Fee: 300 ZAR per document, Please print the proof of payment and submit it with your application.
