Issued to those who applicants who wish to travel for holiday purposes.

Upon entering into Thailand, a stay permit will be granted to the visitor for a maximum period of 90 days. This permit may be extended while the visitor is in Thailand for a maximum of 2 times (twice only) with a maximum validity of 90 days for each extension before 30 September 2022.
Please note that the STV holder, who enters Thailand from 3 July 2022 onwards, will not be permitted to extend visa.

Each applicant must have their own set of application documents, even married couples.

HOW TO SUBMIT VISA APPLICATIONS

Certain nationalities take longer as we have to get approval from our headquarters in Thailand first to issue their visas from the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria
**We do not offer expedited service**

1. Your actual current Passport.
*Passport must not expire within less than 12 months
*Passport must contain at least 2 completely empty visa pages
2. One original visa application form completely filled out
*The application form MUST be signed by the APPLICANT personally, unless applicant is a minor.
*A separate form is required for each applicant, regardless of age
3. Copy of passport
*the data page with name & photo
*& any previous Thai visas
4. Copy of ID document
*for example ID card or driver’s license, not the same as passport
5. If not a national of the country you reside in, a copy of permanent residence permit in one of our accredited countries.
6. 2 Passport Photographs of 2x2 inches
*Photos must be taken within 6 months,
*Photos must be colour
7. A copy of the return flight itinerary/reservation
*The name of the applicant must indicated clearly
8. Documents and payment in regards to accommodation in Thailand for the first 90 days stay
* In case of staying at Hotel(s) or renting Apartment / Condominium / House-A copy of hotel booking (or renting contract) and payment (paid in full until the departure date).
* In case of owning a condominium in Thailand or hire-purchasing a condominium, needs to provide evidence showing ownership or evidence of hire-purchase contract in Thailand with at least two instalments paid.
9. A copy of recent bank statement for the last 3 months with a closing balance of 20,000 Thai Baht, or equivalent (about R9600 or $700 per person and 40,000 Thai Baht per family, or equivalent (about $1,500 or R18000).
* The name of the applicant must be indicated clearly.
* In case of submitting family bank statement a proof of relationship (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate) must be provided, plus signed letter by sponsor
10. Health and accident insurance coverage sold by Thai insurers (only) that covers the period of stay in Thailand, with a minimum of 40,000 THB coverage for outpatient treatment and minimum of 400,000 THB coverage for inpatient hospital and physical services.

11. A medical certificate or report issued from the country where the application is submitted, showing no prohibitive diseases as indicated in the Ministerial Regulation No.14 (B.E. 2535). The certificate shall be valid for not more than three months.
The following must appear on certificate/report:
(Name) is free of the following diseases : 1. LEPROSY, 2. TUBERCULOSIS (T.B.), 3. ELEPHANTIASIS, 4. DRUG ADDICTION, 5. THIRD STEP OF SYPHILIS , 6. and that (name) is in good physical and mental health.
12. An original Police Clearance Certificate (not older than 6 months)
13. Yellow fever vaccination card copy if you come from or have travelled to a yellow fever area

14. Printed proof of payment (transfer or deposit) for the visa application fee (950 ZAR)

All supporting materials that are not in English or Thai must be accompanied by certified English translations and certified by an embassy only.
