Issued to those who applicants who wish to:
1. Travel for holiday purposes or visit family for a short period
2. Do short courses like Yoga, Kickboxing, Language courses, etc.

Employment is prohibited on this visa.

Each applicant must have their own set of application documents, even married couples.

HOW TO SUBMIT VISA APPLICATIONS

Certain nationalities take longer as we have to get approval from our headquarters in Thailand first to issue their visas from the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria
**We do not offer expedited service**

1. Your actual current Passport.
*Passport must not expire within less than 6 months
*Passport must contain at least 2 completely empty visa pages
2. One original visa application form completely filled out
*The application form MUST be signed by the APPLICANT personally, unless applicant is a minor.
*A separate form is required for each applicant, regardless of age
3. Copy of passport
*the data page with name & photo
*& any previous Thai visas
4. Copy of ID document
*for example ID card or driver’s license, not the same as passport
5.If not a national of the country you reside in, a copy of permanent residence or other permit.
6. 2 Passport Photographs of 2x2 inches
*Photos must be taken within 6 months,
*Photos must be colour
7. A copy of the return flight itinerary/reservation
*The name of the applicant must indicated clearly
8. Proof of bookings for accommodation in Thailand
* This must correspond with travel dates on your ticket
* If not hotel or guesthouse booking, we will accept an invitation letter to visit Thailand (including a copy of ID card for Thai Host, or, passport and Thai stay permit for non-Thai Host
9. A copy of recent bank statement for the last 3 months with a closing balance of 20,000 Thai Baht, or equivalent (about R9600 or $700 per person and 40,000 Thai Baht per family, or equivalent (about $1,500 or R18000)
*The name of the applicant must be indicated clearly.
*In case of submitting family bank statement a proof of relationship (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate) must be provided, plus signed letter by sponsor
10. Proof of employment in your country of residence in the form of a recent signed letter by your employer
*If not employed, please write and sign a letter to attach to your application stating you are not employed and any reason if any you want to give, that you have sufficient funds to travel, etc.
11. For minor under 20 years old, please provide following documents
* Certified copy of an unabridged birth certificate
* Certified copy of original passports or ID of mother and father/ legal guardian
*Original letter of notarized consent for the minor to travel abroad from mother and father/ legal guardian
* In case of Divorce, Child Custody Letter from court in respect of the child is required. In case of deceased parent, copy of death certificate.
12. Yellow fever vaccination card copy if you come from or have travelled to a yellow fever area

13. Printed proof of payment (transfer or deposit) for the visa application fee
*Fee = ZAR600 (single entry)

All supporting materials that are not in English or Thai must be accompanied by certified English translations and certified by an embassy only.

How Long Can I Stay In Thailand with an Approved Tourist Visa?
Holders of an approved transit visa for Thailand are permitted a single entry stay of up to 60 days in the country.

The visa is valid to enter Thailand for 3 months from the date of issue, and the traveler is permitted their single entry at any point during this period of validity.

Visa may extended once for 30 days period at the Immigration Bureau in Thailand.
