On 25 September 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria arranged a mobile consular service in Durban, Republic of South Africa, to deliver consular services such as passport application, legalisation, birth registration and general consultation to Thai nationals residing in Durban.

In addition, the Embassy staff met, on 24 September 2016, Thai Muslim students who have been studying Islamic teachings at Faisal Uloom School in Durban. On this occasion, educational and sport equipment was given to the Thai Muslim students as part of the Embassy’s interaction project with Thai Muslim students in South Africa.

There were altogether 5 times of mobile consular services provided throughout the Fiscal Year of 2016 to the Thai communities in Cape Town, Durban, Medupi, and Kusile
